Speed of Sound Video 23/05/2005
This video was made for us by Mark Romanek in the same room where a lot of the ‘Wizard of Oz’ was shot.
Behind the light screen Mark built was an enormous staircase that we were racing up between takes [probably in an effort to slim down). Mani from the Stone Roses had seen me with a cake a few weeks before and said ‘Notbody likes a fat popstar’.

Acoustic Session for The Edge, Toronto 10/05/2005
Playing in Toronto is one of life’s biggest buzzes I think, and this time was no exception. We had a police horse escort, which I enjoyed so much I now get one everywhere, even just nipping down the shops.
