Glastonbury/Kylie 25/06/2005
When Kylie got sick and couldn’t be at Glastonbury, everyone was gutted and so we decided to learn ‘Can’t Get You Out…’ and play it for her. First of all it’s fun to pretend to be Kylie in a song and second of all it goes down better live than all our other songs put together.
So, we owe her one! As we also do for Lou Reed at the Isle of Wight, who let us play ‘Perfect Day’.

X&Y Release 06/06/2005
When X&Y was coming out we were pretty nervous. It was a difficult time for us as we had a lot of opinions flying around from within and without. But we got through it. Mainly by playing live I think.
Plus, we discovered that we played better and liked each other more when we wore white trainers.
